ABOUT HIMAJA TERALA

Himaja Terala, a freshman at Danbury High School, aspires to enter the medical field and finds joy in giving back to her community with gratitude for her life. In 2020, at a young age, she founded her own non-profit organization, 4 Hope for Chance, which donates to Arunodaya ManoVikasa Kendram in India, supporting children with special needs. Actively involved in community service, Himaja participates in Key Club and Female Empowerment and will serve as HOSA’s Fundraising Coordinator and UNICEF’s Assistant Fundraiser in the upcoming academic year. Besides her service work, she enjoys cricket, tennis, dance, and singing. Passionate about promoting unity and human kindness, Himaja aims to enhance mental health and well-being in her community and beyond with Been Beautiful.
