Allice Carvalho

Allice is a sophomore at Danbury High School. She plans to take part in the law field in the future and is very passionate about helping others, that being volunteering and overall being a friend to all around her that need someone. Her love for culture and diversity in her life has been the reason she decided to join the Been Beautiful organization, in which she gets to spread awareness about mental health to others and celebrate life’s ups and downs. Outside Been Beautiful, Allice has set her time as a sophomore to be the most productive as possible, she holds the historian position in the criminal justice club beginning of the school year and has devoted her time volunteering in LEAD (Latinos for Educational Advocacy and Diversity) for the last two years. She holds passion for the importance of being your true self and understanding the difference that all have and the beauty of diversity. She hopes that by sharing her time, experiences and vulnerability, she can help others to feel safe within their identity and motivate others to grow and be the best person they can be.
